We really enjoyed sleeping 2 nights in this hotel. The property was located right by a couple of minutes walking from the main square and the main square and other areas in El Salvador. The accommodation had a central location in the city centre. We tried some restaurants, including Artisant which boasted an excellent cuisine.

The shared lounge at Castello Hostal Santa Ana was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. With its cozy ambiance and comfortable seating, it felt like being in the living room of a close friend. I got lost in a riveting game of billiards with fellow travelers while swapping tales of adventure and laughter.

I always return to this place for my city trips. They helped me find my forgotten things once. It suits me. Free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, bar, airport shuttle, laundry, TV room, kitchen, billiards, games, non-smoking rooms: all I need!

As youngsters, we absolutely loved the social and friendly atmosphere at this hostel. The staff took us on a fun day trip to the hot springs and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from the main square and the bus station. Despite not having a kitchen, they had a fridge where we could keep our snacks and drinks cold. The beautiful old mansion had plenty of space and character, and the burger restaurant downstairs was convenient and served delicious milkshakes. The staff spoke English and were always eager to help.
We felt very cared for during our stay at Ricks Hostel Santa Ana. No complaints whatsoever.

Beautiful colonial-style building with original features. Great courtyard and upper balcony to chill in. Fantastic location near morning market and main square. Can rent scooters and join organized day trips. Friendly owners and manager eager to create a good atmosphere.
Lack of experience showed, owner couldn't answer common questions. Cleaning of the dorm was not up to par.

The hostel offers a great social atmosphere, with regular events and a bar where travelers can meet and mingle. the spacious and clean rooms provide a comfortable stay, with ensuite bathrooms and clean sheets. the well-equipped kitchen and pool table are additional perks that guests can enjoy.
There are some minor issues that need improvement, such as the lack of charge points in the dorm rooms and the loud street noise during certain hours.

Lovely garden, a shared lounge that feels like someone's living room, and a terrace where I can pretend to be posh. Also, the restaurant is conveniently located.
Only one short glimpse of a pet-friendly atmosphere, as the WiFi barely reached my pet's bed.

I had the most amazing experience at Castello Hostal. The owners were incredibly friendly and even took us on a day trip to the hot springs, which was so much fun. The hostel had a small, cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax and connect with other travelers. Plus, the location was perfect, just a few blocks from the main square and walking distance from the bus station. Though there was no kitchen, they did have a fridge where we could store our food and drinks. The price of the hostel was unbeatable, especially considering the value we received. The staff were not only helpful but also funny, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cleanliness of the accommodation was impressive, and the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. With a stunning view of the cathedral and located in a safe area, Castello Hostal was definitely the best stay in Santa Ana. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic experience. I can't say enough good things about Castello Hostal Santa Ana.

Flatscreen TVs in every room kept us entertained during downtime. One night, while enjoying a city view from our balcony, we felt like characters in a gripping sitcom, eagerly awaiting the next dramatic twist. The shared bathroom added a touch of adventure as we bonded with fellow travelers over morning routines.
Noisy bars nearby.
